Bahia expects R$8.5 billion of investments in tourism by 2020,

says Claudio Taboada, president of Bahiatursa. The strategic plan includes new options to attract international tourists with a very high spending power. He also noted Bahia has now 43 international flights per week, from 30 different countries. The number of arrivals is expected to grow from 717000 to 4 million by 2020.
