Riu, H10 and Andulucia Playa plan hotels near Salvador

With 7 new projects, the Coconut Coast near Salvador is well on its way to confirm its status as the largest hotel zone in Latin America - and its image as "the new Cancun".

First of All, Iberostar confirmed it will start building a second hotel in Praia do Forte, with 500 apartments. North of Praia do Forte, Riu has bought a large stretch of land where it will build a hotel with 1100 units. Its partnership with TUI will guarantee a high year-round occupancy.

Further North, H10 is close to finalising a deal for a resort with 600 apartments and a real estate project.

Finally, also Playa Hoteles, from Andalucia, is finalizing a project for an other project with 600 apartments - also in Praia do Forte.
