Investing?
Although most of our clients are large institutional investors - with investments of $5 to $50 million, our own money goes into smaller projects for which we sometimes "pool" with a small number of private investors.
We can often take advantage of our inside information and of properties that are offered below market value; sometimes, just by seeing value in locations that Brazilians fail to see but is obvious to international investors.
The know-how and contacts we gain through our larger projects allow us to ensure an easy and smooth execution of these smaller projects.
Typically, we work on a trust basis with a small number of private investors that know us well and let us make most calls. We routinely try and double investors' money in less than 2 years' time but sometimes go for an earlier exit if that makes sense.
Although we routinely create an SPE for each project, and are happy to provide references from existing clients, investing in our requires a good level of trust in our skills and reliability. We can deliver results but can not hold any hands in the process.
